Celebrating Our Volunteers and 13 Years of Right 2 Smile!

On the 30th of November, we gathered at the Chinese Gardens, Santa Lucija for our Annual Get-Together, a special event dedicated to celebrating the incredible individuals who contribute their time, energy, and passion to Right 2 Smile. It was an afternoon filled with gratitude, recognition, and community spirit as we reflected on our journey and achievements over the years.

One of the highlights of the event was the announcement of the first ever Right 2 Smile Volunteer Awards, which recognise outstanding contributions by our volunteers. This year’s winners are truly inspiring:

• Community Empowerment Award: Miguel Vassallo, for his impactful work as a volunteer in Kenya and Ghana.
• Inclusive Spirit Award: Susanne Savona, for her dedication as a member of the Youth Group team.
• Volunteers of the Year: Cheyenne Sciberras from the Youth Group team and Jeremy Farrugia from the Fundraising team, for their exceptional commitment and service.

These awards are a testament to the extraordinary efforts of our volunteers, who continue to embody the spirit of empowerment, inclusivity, and teamwork that define Right 2 Smile.

This year’s gathering was also special as we also celebrated an incredible milestone: 13 years of Right 2 Smile! Over the past 13 years, we have grown together, overcome challenges, and made a meaningful impact on the lives of countless individuals and communities. None of this would have been possible without the support of our volunteers, partners, and donors who share our vision for a better world.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to our mission of creating opportunities for growth and positive change. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this celebration and to all our volunteers who make our work possible. Here’s to many more years of making a difference together!
